Nodo, meaning "knot" in Romance languages, is the key element of the collection. It is created by the connection of the legs and the post, forming a distinctive detail and a visual focal point. This element softens the rigidity of minimalism, giving the furniture a subtle softness and visual warmth.
The design emphasizes efficient production and quick assembly with a single screw. This facilitates transport, reducing the carbon footprint and enabling easy replacement of components. The collection includes coffee tables, dining tables, and bar tables, each available in two leg spacing variations.
Hak Studio is a design studio specializing in hacking products, production processes, and companies through research, strategy, and industrial design.
True to its name, the studio employs various methods and tricks to simplify life and solve problems, including those related to construction, assembly, accessibility, and sustainability.
The studio is led by Żanetta Korsak and Paweł Lasota, who have been designing for both Polish and international companies for many years.
